Three WWW's and EBI's on my pitch

Three WWW's ,( What went well).

- WWW: I explained a lot about my pitch to the audience.

- WWW: The powerpoint of my pitch was bright and eye catching for the audience

- WWW: I summed up every side of my powerpoint so that way I was not just reading what was on the powerpoint.

Three EBI's, ( Even better if).

- EBI: If I could of made eye contact with the audience.

- EBI: It would of been better if I had better body language.

- EBI: It would of been better if I had a clearer voice, so that way the audience can understand my pitch better.

My front cover. I decided to choose the cat's title because my magazine is about cats and I wanted to use a title that is eye catching and a title like no other. Also I used the yellow background because yellow means happy and is also bright and eye catching this is another way for catching my audience attention. I thought I would yellow for my target audience because dark boring colours would not attract their attention but yellow would. And I used big, middle and small pictures and different pictures because then my audience will know what my magazine is about straight away and want to read more because they have an idea about what my magazine has in store.

On my contents page I used the same colour background as the front cover I did this because I wanted it to link still eye catching and bright just like the front cover. Also I thought I would the colour yellow because I thought it went well with the age group I'm aiming at (11-16 years). As well yellow is a bright, happy colour rather then using dark boring colours to attract my audience. Another thing is that I used a lot of big pictures but writing in all the right place (so it does not look messy), I thought I would add a fair amount of writing and pictures because the age group I'm aiming at is 11-16 years old and that age group can not have to much writing because that would be to boring and it can't have to much pictures because that would be childish. So I thought I would add a fair amount to make it still look instersting but still the right amount for the readers. And I used the title Paw print because it appeal's to the readers age group and it is very eye catching and cute.

 My double page spread . My double page spreed has one side of writing but some pictures but around the writing so it does not look to childish. And on the other side of the double page spreed there is a big photo and pictures around the big photo, I did this because I wanted the big photo to stand out even more and so that it is eye catching to the readers. I also wanted this part of the magazine to be about something that would appeal to teenage girls (age 11-16 years), and it is cat fashion, fashion for teenage girls. Also I decided to do this part of the magazine about cat fashion because its not childish because this would not appeal to young children also it would appeal to adults. Also I thought I would have cute eye catching and pictures that relates to what this part of the magazine is about, I thought I would do that because of the age group I'm aiming at loves eye catching, funny,cute and instesting things so I thought I would make the double page spreed look more instersting by adding small but eye catching images that suit the age group I'm aiming at which is 11-16 years. Also I used a yellow background because I wanted the background to look bright and eye catching, I picked this background as well because it is a colour that teenage girls love because its a nice, bright and happy colour not a boring colour. So that is why I picked the colour yellow for my background colour.

My ideas for my cat magazine.

This is my ideas for my cat magazine.

 I have planned 3 different ideas for my cat magazine. My first idea was a cat magazine for children aged 6-10 years of age. This idea will include inside the magazine bright, colourfuland happy photos of cats and kittens. As well inside the magazine it will have funny and real stories about cats and kittens for children. Also when the reader buys the magazine it will include free gifts with the magazine that are related to the cat magazine. As well the magazine will have competitions for the children to enter and win prizes and the magzine will be very colourful so the children will think it looks cool to look at. This magazine is aimed at females and some males, this is because mostly girls would enjoy this magazine but some boys might enjoy it to because the magazine will have some parts for boys and girls. The photos I have choosen where very cute and colourful and clear so the children can look at the photos and enojoy for a long time.

Another idea I have for my magazine is for 11-16 year olds.

In this magazine the ideas inside are, handy tips on how to look after a cat or kitten. Also differnt types of season fashion so that the read knows that she can dress up her cat for the season. E.g. winter fashion how to keep your cat warm at winter. Also in this magazine it will have inside competitions the reader can enter to win prizes. And inside the magazine there will be a lot of colourful photos for my magazine (Paw Print). The photos inside the magazine are going to be some cute photos of cats and kittens but there will be some photos of cat's bed and cat food so that the reader knows what kind of food they can get for their cat or kitten. This idea of this magazine is aimed at just females because there will be a some pink colours in the magazine and most girls like the colour pink not really boys.

My last idea for my magazine (Paw Print) will be for adults. Inside this magazine it will include competitions for the adults to enter for there cat or kitten. There will be much more writing in this magazine because adults will not want as much picutres and more writing that will help them for their cat or kitten.Tips will also be in the magazine so that reader will know some very handy tips on how to look after their cat or kitten that they will really need to know about. But there will be some pictures inside the magazine that will be big and bold so when there are pictures the reader will look at them. Also there will be some fashion for the reader's cat or kitten to wear out our just in doors (any where they want). This magazine is aimed at mixed gender because men and women will own cats and will need to know the tips and much just enjoy reading this magazine.

Overall the magazine I have chosen to do out of all my ideas will be the magazine for ages 11-16 years old. I have choosen this magazine becaus this magazine is in my age group, so that way it will much easier to make because I can get in the reader's shoes of what they want in the magazine. I did not chose the magaizne for the aged 6-10 year old because I thought it would not be very instersting because there would not be a lot of facts or writing just a lot of colourful pictures. Also I did not choose the magaine for adults because I thought it would not be that eye catching. I think in this magazine it would have to much writing and only a few picutures. So I thought that 11-16 has an even amount of picutres and writing and will still look very instersting and eye cathing to buy and read.
